Refunds and cancellation

How to cancel, what happens when you do, and when we give money back.

Last updated 30 August 2026.

Try it before you pay

The free plan has no time limit and takes no card details. It runs the whole thing — uploading a fillable PDF, publishing it, signatures, calculations, image uploads — with a cap on how many forms you can publish and how many responses you can take each month, and a small Docoform credit on the finished PDF. Use it for as long as you like before deciding whether Pro is worth paying for.

Cancelling

Cancel yourself, at any time, from the billing page. There is nothing to email and no notice period.

After the first 14 days, cancelling stops the next payment. It does not end the plan you have already paid for: Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, and the billing page shows that date. After it passes, the account moves to the free plan.

Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Your forms and responses stay where they are. If you go back over the free plan's limits, you will not be able to publish new forms or take new responses until you are under them again, but nothing already there is removed.

Refunds

Within 14 days of a payment, we will refund it in full, no reason needed. That covers the first payment on a new subscription and any renewal.

You don't have to ask. Cancel on the billing page within those 14 days and the refund happens there and then — the money goes back to the card you paid with, and your account moves to the Free plan. If anything goes wrong with that, email support@docoform.com from the address on the account and we'll sort it out by hand.

After 14 days we give refunds in these cases:

  • You were charged after cancelling. Refunded in full, always.
  • You were charged twice for the same period. The duplicate is refunded.
  • The service was broken for a meaningful stretch and we could not fix it. We refund that part of the period.

Outside those, a part-used period is not normally refunded — cancel and Pro simply runs to the end of it. Ask anyway if you think your case is unfair; we would rather sort it out than argue.

How a refund is paid

Payments run through Paddle, which is the merchant of record — so a refund is issued by Paddle back to the card or account that paid. It usually shows up within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank. You can also ask Paddle directly through the link on the receipt they emailed you.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase made online. Because Docoform starts working the moment you subscribe, you are asked to agree that the service begins straight away — which means that if you use it during those 14 days, a strict reading lets us keep the part you used. We do not do that: the full refund above is given regardless.

Nothing in this policy takes away rights the law gives you.
