Terms of service

Docoform takes a PDF that already has form fields built into it and publishes it as a web link. Anyone with the link can fill it in, sign it and send it back from a browser, without installing anything. You get the completed PDF by email and in your dashboard.

Docoform does not add form fields to a PDF that has none. If your file has no fields in it, the service cannot publish it.

You need an account, and the email address on it has to be one you control. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done through your account. Tell us at support@docoform.com if you think someone else has got into it.

You must be at least 18, and able to enter a contract where you live.

There is a free plan and a paid Pro plan, monthly or yearly. The current limits and prices are shown on the billing page in your account.

Payments are handled by Paddle, which is the merchant of record for every order. That means your contract for the purchase itself is with Paddle, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply alongside these. Paddle issues your receipt and handles any sales tax or VAT.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Cancelling is covered in the refunds and cancellation policy.

The PDFs you upload, and everything people submit through your forms, stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store those files, show them to the people you share the link with, generate the filled PDF and email it to you.

We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

You decide what forms you publish and who fills them in, which makes you responsible for what you collect. In data-protection terms you are the controller of that information and we handle it on your behalf. In particular:

• You must have the right to publish the PDF you upload, and to ask for the information the form collects.
• If you collect personal information, telling those people what you are doing with it is your job, not ours.
• Sharing a form link publicly means anyone who has it can submit. If a form is meant for one person, don't post the link where others can find it.

• Use Docoform for anything unlawful, or to deceive the people filling in your forms.
• Upload malware, or files designed to attack the service or its users.
• Collect payment card numbers, or reuse the service as a general file-sharing or storage host.
• Try to get around plan limits, break into other accounts, or interfere with the service for anyone else.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.

We work to keep Docoform running, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, and failures at the companies that host the service, will cause interruptions from time to time. There is no guaranteed uptime figure on any plan.

Docoform is not a document archive. Keep your own copies of anything you need to keep.

Docoform captures a drawn signature and places it in the finished PDF. Whether that counts as a valid signature depends on the type of document and the law where you are. We do not promise that a form signed through Docoform will be enforceable, and nothing here is legal advice. If a document matters, take your own advice on how it needs to be signed.

You can close your account at any time from the account page. Doing so deletes your forms, your responses and the stored files, and cannot be undone. Cancel any paid subscription first, or it will keep being charged.

We may end this agreement by closing your account if you break these terms, or on 30 days' notice for any other reason — in which case we will refund the unused part of anything you have already paid.

Docoform is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude warranties that are not written down here, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or loss of data.

Where we are liable, the most we will pay for all claims together is what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. Carrying on using Docoform after that means accepting the new version; if you would rather not, close your account.

These terms are governed by the law of Pakistan, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
